The Axa Porcelaine business is a family business, reaching the second generation. Georgeta and Marian Sarmes founded Axa Porcelaine in 1991 with only 3 employees. At that time, trinkets, baskets and ballerinas were in fashion. Over a few years, they took the step towards public catering items, reaching at present to be almost 100% HORECA suppliers for locations both in Romania and in Europe. In the meantime, the daughter of the two joined the business, Amalia Baciu-Sarmes contributing with a new breath on the sales and marketing side.

The year 2020 proved difficult for the entire HoReCa industry, and it proved to be the opportune moment for Axa Porcelaine to take a step that it had already planned for some time: the launch on the retail market to individual consumers, through its own online store that is only at one click away.
