Axa Porcelaine was born in 1991, having as main activity “Fabrication of porcelain for tableware and for decoration”; we are still doing this activity.
Since the beginning a very important aspect was the quality of the products, in order to be able to enter on the international market.
Year after year, increasing the experience of the personnel, bringing well qualified personnel and also qualifying the people, the Society improved the level of products quality. In the same time we increase the assortment of the products for the market.
In present, the Society produces more than 600 models, divided in 2 big categories:

All the articles above can be delivered to the clients both white and decorated. The decoration can be:
- hand painting
- decoration with decal
Axa Porcelaine began the activity on 11 April 1991, on 14 – 17 T. Vladimirescu Str., in a place of only 84 square meters. In that year the activity was carried on with a small endowment and only with 5 workers. That was all that could be done at that time.
The burning capacity (electric kiln) used was of 0.12 mc. The policy of the Society was to sell products requesting a great labor level, making mostly unique products and having on the first place the quality.
In 1992 we get a field (about 1500 square meters) in Cetate, and there were built the first part of the building. We also get a new kiln on gas and a capacity of 2 mc.
In 1994 we start the construction of new buildings and production halls; this work was ended in 1997, but also in present we invest in new technology and rearranging, in order to bring the capacity of production and also the technical and ambiental conditions at occidental standards.
In 1995 the enlargement of the capacity with a kiln of 3.6 mc and 2 kilns of 6 mc, all of them assisted by computers, leads to an encreasement of the profitableness and also of the quantitative and qualitative production, by the elimination of the human error.
In autumn 1995 we start the preparations in order to introduce in fabrication a complete new range of products – tableware porcelain articles. In this purpose we brought various machineries from Germany.
The enlargement of the burning capacity made through the acquisition of the performing kilns assisted by computers (all kilns with fast burning process of 10 – 12 hours cold to cold) made possible the realization of 500 to of porcelain/year.
Until 1997 we export only a small part of our production, but since 1997 until 2000 we export more that 92% from our production.
In 2000 we get another field, next to the one we had, of about 700 square meters, and we built another production hall. Several parts of the building have 2 or 3 floors.
In this moment we have 60 employs and a high productivity. Mostly we export in Italy, Germany, Greece, England, Hungary, France, Turkey and Republic of Moldavia, and we search all the time new markets.
In this moment we have both technology and personnel qualified to make the whole range of porcelain, both decorative and tableware.
The experience on porcelain market, the production we make, the variety of our products, the modern technology used and a infrastructure at European level, the professionalism of our personnel and also the place we have on the market gave us the possibility to … our clients and also to find new opportunities of collaboration.
Our production capacity is in such way calculated than gives the possibility to honor promptly our client’s orders. As a specific characteristic of Axa Porcelaine is the malleability and the easier way we can adapt to each change on the market. Right now we produce short series of products (thousand peaces / article), and all the products are made as shape and characteristics by the necessities of our clients.
As future policy, the Society is chasing to diversify even more the range of the products we offer to our clients, both in our country and abroad.
